The Regional Contracting Assistance Center, Inc. (RCAC) PTAC is a non-profit corporation funded by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), the State of West Virginia, and private corporations to provide assistance to West Virginia companies seeking to do business with federal, state, or local government agencies. RCAC has fulfilled this role since 1987 and currently services the entire state.
Throughout the United States, similar centers have been set up; these centers are called Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs).
